John Thorburn is Senior Color Analyst at Canon USA in the Production Solutions division where he designs tools and events supporting the sales and marketing of Canon imagePRESS and Oce PRISMAsync color printing systems.
Active in color printing since 1980 John’s career spans roles from conventional prepress in offset lithography companies, to customer education and market management at Scitex America Corporation, curriculum development at Electronics for Imaging, and the design and delivery of color management educational tools and programs.
John studied photography and life drawing at University of Massachusetts, figure painting at Scottsdale Artist School, graphic design at Monserrat School of Art, and Business Management and Communication Design at Carnegie Mellon University.
