Building on over 20 years of teaching and research at RIT, Michael Riordan works closely with content producers, print service providers, and creative agencies to help improve workflow and production. Michael has published technical papers on related topics, served as co-editor and editor for the Pocket Pal: A Graphic Arts Production Handbook, and worked with CGATS and others to create tools to improve graphic communications.

A key element of great design is ensuring great color in the final product. There are a myriad of variables that impact the accuracy and consistency of color throughout all phases of design production. This session will highlight the critical factors, settings, and decisions that impact color from the early stages of the creative process all the way through digital asset management and production.
