Pete Rivard is a faculty member of the Graphic Design & Production program at Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, MN. He also serves as the current Director of Education for AIGA Minnesota. Rivard has 19 years of prepress, production management and application support experience and twenty years of post-secondary teaching experience. He holds a B.S. in Applied Management and assorted industry certifications and is the author of the textbook Digital Color Correction, Delmar Publishing, 2006.

We’ll examine skin values numerically—and visually—to measure and determine what numbers in various color spaces make pleasing, printable skin tones.
